AML

The Arkansas Municipal League offers five optional benefit programs to its membership, as well as a range of services that have been developed in response to the specific needs of Arkansas’ cities and towns. In an effort to always be of maximum benefit to League members, these areas of assistance are designed to adapt as the needs of municipalities change.

League Services

Field Representatives/District Meetings

The League currently employs five retired municipal officials who serve as full- and part-time field reps throughout the state. Field reps are available to visit cities and towns to assist with various issues and serve as a liaison between member municipalities and League staff. IT Services

In addition to managing and maintaining the League’s technology infrastructure, the League’s Information Technology department works with member municipalities on issues such as cybersecurity. Director of IT Services Jeff Melton also works with various partner organizations that are League-approved to provide managed services to municipalities.

Online Sales of Government Equipment

GovDeals’ online marketplace provides services to government, educational and related entities for the sale of surplus assets to the public. a “difference-making solution with a nationwide roster of clients.” Members of the Arkansas Municipal League are charged only for items sold. Job Evaluation and Salary Administration Program

The Job Evaluation and Salary Administration Program (JESAP) is provided to our members by the JER HR Group. It is a proven compensation management system that can provide our members with greater efficiency in reducing the following problems:
